hello & Sabaidee! I’m Rita!
Rita Phetmixay (pronouns: she/they) is a 2nd generation Lao Isaan American dedicated to a life-time of trauma-informed healing work, with the intentions to co-create an inclusive, safe, and enriching experience for communities to thrive. For years, Rita has worked on healing herself as a trauma-survivor and is proud to have witnessed her own personal growth and transformation through various integrative modalities. Her personal connection to this work elicits her passion to bring healing back home to the Lao and greater Southeast Asian diaspora.
Rita’s practices are deeply rooted in healing-centered, anti-oppressive, transformative justice based frameworks and applies a variety of modalities in session including mindfulness/meditation, movement/breath, attachment theory, spirituality, psychosomatics, CBT, DBT, positive psychology, comedy, laughter and so much more!
