Healing Out Lao’d offers community-centered healing spaces, workshops, retreats, consultations, and educational programming rooted in Lao and Southeast Asian mental health, storytelling, intergenerational healing, and collective care.
Through culturally grounded conversations, resources, and experiences, HOL supports individuals and communities navigating identity, grief, burnout, healing, and life beyond survival mode.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY (telehealth-based)
Rita offers virtual individual therapy sessions for adults navigating intergenerational trauma, identity exploration, grief, burnout, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the emotional impacts of surviving systems rooted in displacement, migration, oppression, and survival.
Rita’s therapeutic approach is warm, affirming, relational, and culturally grounded while also encouraging accountability, reflection, and meaningful growth. As a Lao American licensed psychotherapist, I deeply understand the nuanced experiences many children of refugees and immigrants may carry while navigating healing, family dynamics, belonging, and life beyond survival mode.
While my work centers the Lao and broader Southeast Asian diaspora experience, I also work with individuals from diverse backgrounds seeking a compassionate, culturally responsive, and socially conscious approach to mental health care.
All therapy sessions are currently offered virtually through a secure telehealth platform for California residents.
